The hair stylists at Marilyn’s Hairdressing have the passion and dedication to create amazing hairstyles. This has kept them at the forefront of modern hairdressing style for so long.

Marilyn opened the Salon in 1977 and worked tirelessly to build up a brand that became an institution both in the area and in the hairdressing industry.

On August 12 2022 Marilyn sold the Salon business to Jade and Ben George.

Marilyn’s Salon continues to be committed to offering a warm and friendly environment and professional service under their stewardship.

Jade is the owner and front of house for our hair salon.

With a background in customer service and a love for fashion and beauty, Jade has found a home at Marilyn’s.

She has embraced the hair industry and enjoys building relationships with our loyal clients and talented stylists.

Multi talented and full of personality, Audrey has been in the industry for over 25 years. Having forged a reputation in Auckland as a vastly experienced hair stylist, she remains the driving force in the salon to move towards sustainable practises.

Audrey is now only here on Thursdays. Therefore booking in advance is often necessary.

Donna is a lively, bubbly person, originally from the UK and has made New Zealand her home for the last 7 years.

Donna loves all aspects of hairdressing and making people look and feel amazing from the inside out.

Jenny carries a warmth of character that is enjoyed by all her clients. Jenny shares her love of cooking and gardening with everyone she meets.  Jenny has spent the last twenty years as an integral part of our hair salon team.

She ensures every client feels relaxed, understood, and genuinely cared for while in her chair. Her attention to detail and unwavering commitment to her clients make her your trusted stylist.

Ivy is an emerging stylist hairdresser with 6 years of experience in the industry.

Ivy has a special talent for transforming people’s hair and has a particular love for all things blonde. Her bubbly and infectious personality makes her a favourite among clients and colleagues alike.

Ivy is full of energy and ideas, and her passion for  hair shines through in everything she does.

Scarlett is on the verge of completing her training. Her dedication and passion for hairdressing is very evident in her work. She has always had a knack for colour work, particularly when it comes to creating stunning blondes and creative colour styles.

From a young age, Scarlett knew that she wanted to pursue a career in hairdressing, and her commitment to ongoing training and improvement truly shines through. She is always eager to learn and grow, and her goal is to become the best hairstylist she can be.
